Monday,
"Jai Ganesh" as its ma first post.
After 3 holidays we r back attending classes(except CSE people for us everyday is almost a) holiday. But still,we had 3 classes today out of which we attended 2 as one of the tacher was absent(common tendency of csed teachers), and as usual they were utterly boring and dull.
In the open elective class i turned around to see other students' faces, but i was only able to see the upper part of their head coz they were all down out of sleep.A situation where any teacher would feel embarrased, but with egregious Gagnesh case was different. He was unstopable,at last it ended, few happy faces could be seen then.
Next comes Compiler Design Mr.Avtar alias Chomunov's class,a russia return guy who came to india to mislead his students to follow his footsteps.I reached the class late(true follwer of indian culture), consequently all the last benches were occupied and i had to sit in the first row.Chomunov was doing something with the slides shown on the white screen .There are two reasons why students prefer to sit in the last benches, first and the primary one is well known to everyone and second is coz of that old and withered AC which is not even able to cool whole of the class,it cools only its peripharies.Morover the AC and the lorry sung by the faculties facilitates the people sitting or rather sleeping to dive themseeves into the deep sea of sleep.
"Ok thats it" said Chomunov after 1 hour and so am i sayin, "Thats it".Adieu.

Blue Day For Men In Blue
India thrased out of the T20 world cup.It was as expected as the team never looked like the defending champions. It lacked the zeal and passion which was there in 2007.The skipper MS Dhoni, regarded as the thinking captain ,his strategical changes didnt turned out right and ended as a Blunder.Too much tinkering cost a lot to Dhoni and to the team.Bowling changes were not apt as in the last match RP Singh bowled superbly but still the pen ultimate over was given to out-of-form Zaheer Khan.Zaheer Khan never looked like the spearhead bowler,Ishant sharma dissapointed too.Bhajji and Ojha did quite well. Its not worth mentioning Irfan coz he is batsman now so cant blame on his bowling. But overall Indian bowling attack lacked class and passion. The part time bowlers like Yousuf Pathan and Jadeja performed better than the main bowlers.I have seen that Indian pace bowlers donot capitalize the one bouncer per over rule.Gary and Venky must give a brood on this.
In the batting side, the top order didnt provide a stable start to the team,ya we definitely missed Sehwag. And it looked that Gautam only plays well with Sehwag he was bit lucky that most of the times his miscued shots landed safely.Raina looked uncomfortable against short balls sometimes he gave the glimpse of Ganguly;).Rohit Sharma I dont know what he is doing in the team and I dont know why Indian selectors rely so much on him I never liked him and as an opener he was awful.Yuvraj was in the blistering form it seemed that the whole team revolved round him,but lastly he failed to provide. The thinking Dhoni who tries to play the part of Inning Builder but never succeds, people were sighing in lament when came to bat.He never looked like the Dhoni of the early 2000 when he was renowned for his hitting.Apart from individual deforms there were strategical faults too, batting order management was very poor,it was a complete blunder to send Jadeja before Yuvraj and Yousuf,I didnt mention Dhoni here because it wouldnt have made any difference if he would have come at number four. The top order was struggling and never looked comfortable against the short pitched balls. The English bowlers following the West Indies policy exploited this debility to the fullest.
Lastly in the side in which India is always poor, the commentators said almost 100 times that India has two or three very good fielders but overall indian fielding is below average. It was strange to see Yuvraj Singh, India's one of the best fielder was struggling in the field. He dropped simple catch in the match against bangladesh and miss fielded a lot in the previous match.
PS : I think this knock out was required for the Indian team, actly they deserved it.It will bring them down from the illusion of the second best team and they will again endeavor to be the best.Gary and MS the thinktanks have to do a lot of homework and being Indian supporter I hope that India will do better in rest of the season......

A visit to the Golconda Fort...
First cross on the list of tourist places at hyderabad and it could be nothing better than the gigantic & royal Golconda Fort.
After a night out and watching two movies without a break till 6:00 am, it was hard to
goose-up.I woke up at 8:45 am ,the hangover of the nightout was teribble. The dialogues of the movie were still reverberating in my ears. But finaly I convinced myself and thought if we continue the same attitude,we'll end up showing a dull face with lots of excuse when everyone who would ask did u visit golconda and ramoji during your stay in hyderabad?
So we went for it.It was actualy not too far from the IIIT campus. It costs only around Rs15 if u take the state RTC bus and in around 50 mins we were standing right in the front of the main entrance of the fort. There was ticket of Rs 5 per head.
Golconda was actually the capital city of the Golkonda which was ruined by the mughals . Golconda got its name from the telugu word "Golla+konda" which means Shepherd's Hill.Golconda city spans over a large area in south-western hyderabad and contains the fort in the centre. The fort was mainly constructed by the Qutub Shahi Kings. Before the advent the whole deccan was ruled from the Golconda Fort. The main attraction of the fort is the acoustic system, water supply and ventilation system.A living example of the sophistication and expertise of the architects and the engineers of ancient times. The fort is so big that it takes 3-4 hrs for a thorough visit. If you are meticulous kinda person who likes to go deep in the intricacies of the architecture it can take days too.We are not so it only took 2hrs to us to visit. The main highlight of the fort is the light and sound show, but unfortunately it starts at 7 in the evening so we missed it.So we are planning for revisit.Nonethless, it was very nice experience for me and I enjoyed a lot there.I hope more this visit to golconda will initiate a chain reaction and the crosses in the list will increase expnentialy....Amen...

Swimming Race.....
5th June. After a long time I woke up before 8(AM ofcourse),it was the scheduled day for the issue of application forms for summer swimming camp at Sports Authority Of Andhra Hyderabad.I rushed to the bathroom for getting fresh,we were told by the security guard of the stadium to come 1 hour prior to the scheduled time. The clock was ticking at 8:15.We left at 8:30 with lots of enthusiasm. It felt proud seeing other people still lying in their bed sleeping. We took the shortcut for the ground specially provided for the IIIT students. Finally, after a ten minutes walk we reached the main entrance gate of the stadium. We were highly shocked to see the number of people who were there in the queue. There were even people who were sitting from 7:30 AM,it was way beyond our expectation. No sitting arrangement was done ,they just marked numbers from 1 to 150 in the ,and people were sitting on the FCFS scheme. We were still staring at the people around, much of crowd for just getting the application form for swimming.Somehow we managed to sit according to the numbers. It was very hot,and it was really very hard to sit for 1 more hour. But we were not alone there were other people too, that gave some encouragement and confidence .It was hard to pass time but suddenly with the pleasant sight of some pretty girls, all the boredom was pheeww..gone .So instead of making the environment hotter they made it pleasant and cool. They came for the same purpose but were late so didnt get any place to sit.I am not that much into CCgiri so I didnt offer my place to anyone of them. They tried to use their girlie excuses to get some favour but there was no hope so they went back.
Anyways, the gathering was slowly gaining size and becoming a crowd.People who didnt get the seats were seen calling someone trying for some "sources" the so called VIP quota which is pervasive in all the areas sports, politics everywhere.Ultimately it was 10:00 and the security guards started to distribute the application forms. After a lot of pain and suffering we got it but at last.A sigh of relief could be seen in all the faces. The pleasure and satisfaction was akin to winning a race--A swimming race, though we came last in that race the joy was overwhelming.
PS:Well,at last what I infer from the above instance is the competition and rush each and every field is having. There is cut throat competition.Specially,in coaching centres it has reached to its pinnacle. There are even coaching institutes meant for coaching the students to get into other coaching institutes. For gettin into swimming camp you have to bear so much pain. The condition is bad and it will take no time to get worse.I pray to God to press the restart button of the earth and boot it again from the starting for a fresh beginning of the end.
